Good to know : The major conservatories are French public institutions where music is taught at a very high, professional level; students there prepare for careers as musicians. A recital is a concert given by one or a few performers.
The association Par Ici La Scène gives young musicians from the major conservatories, on the threshold of their professional lives, a chance to present their work before an audience. Two recitals: piano and voice, then piano solo.
