Good to know : "Visible mending" is a technique of visible repair: instead of hiding a seam or a darn, you highlight it with embroidery or decorative stitches. It is a creative sewing practice that has developed in recent years.
After exploring the exhibition "L'étoffe de l'artiste" (The Artist's Cloth), give a new life to your sweaters that are full of holes, stained or felted, using embroidery and visible mending. Remember to bring your own sweater to repair.
Pour lutter contre le froid lors de séances de travail, de nombreux artistes revêtent un col roulé. Lors de cet atelier les participants pourront donner une seconde vie à leur pull troué, taché, feutré ou non grâce à des broderies et au visible mending (réparation visible).
Attention : pour cet atelier, les participants doivent porter leur propre pull à réparer.
