Dead birds fall from the sky. A little girl picks them up and hides them under her bed, helped by a boy, while another boy watches them jealously.
"Il avait de très jolies plumes grises, très belles, et j’ai embrassé son bec avec mes lèvres. Après, j’avais le goût de son sang sur mes lèvres. Mais ce n’était pas très désagréable. C’était un sang d’oiseau. Un sang de quelque chose qui vit sur la cime des arbres. Un sang de tout là-haut. Je me suis sentie privilégiée d’avoir le goût d’un sang de tout là-haut sur mes lèvres. Il était si mignon que j’avais envie de croquer sa petite tête."
