Le Musée de La Poste met en lumière l’art minutieux du timbre gravé en taille-douce, un savoir-faire rare inscrit à l’inventaire français du patrimoine culturel immatériel.
Confiée à la photographe Sophie Brändström, membre de l’agence Signatures, cette enquête visuelle explore les gestes qui donnent naissance aux timbres-poste gravés, et rend hommage à celles et ceux qui assurent la pérennité de cet artisanat d’excellence : graveurs, imprimeurs, collectionneurs… C’est tout un écosystème philatélique qui est ici célébré.
