Good to know : A multimedia library is a public place that combines a library and cultural services (books, films, music, exhibitions, workshops), open to everyone and often free. Naming a multimedia library after an author is a common tribute in France.
The Petit-Nanterre multimedia library becomes the Mehdi-Charef multimedia library, in the presence of the family of the Nanterre author. On the programme: speeches, documentary screenings, readings of extracts, a sound portrait and a presentation of archives.
