Good to know : Pink October is an annual national campaign against breast cancer that promotes screening. In France, women aged 50 to 74 receive an invitation from the national health insurance fund for a mammogram that is covered 100%.
As part of Pink October, the national month for raising awareness about breast cancer screening, information and prevention stands are offered to women, along with free screening days for three types of cancer.
